Imagine strolling through the gardens and among the homes of an enchanting historic village while sipping wine and munching small bites prepared by local restaurants and food vendors. The sounds of live jazz and blues playing softly in the background.

Foodies and oenophiles will have that chance during Vintage & Vine 2019, Strawbery Banke Museum’s annual wine and food festival Sept.7  from 5 to 7:30 p.m. (4 p.m. admission for VIP ticket holders).

Celebrating its 32 year, the key fundraising event offers more than 1,000 guests an opportunity to chat with knowledgeable wine and restaurant partners scattered among the 10-acre village, while listening to jazz and blues by Cuppa Joe. Proceeds from the evening support the museum’s educational programs and daily operations.

The premier wine distributor Horizon Beverage and preferred wine distributors Pine State Beverage Company, Perfecta Wine Company and Highland Wine Merchants lead a dozen other wineries and vendors in presenting hundreds of wines for tasting. Additional participating wineries and distributors include: Baystate Wine & Spirits; Centeur Imports, LLC; Crush Wine & Spirits; Flag Hill Winery & Distillery; Hermit Woods Winery; LaBelle Winery; New England Uncorked; PSP Wines of NH, LLC; and The Imported Grape, LLC.
