Portsmouth’s Strawbery Banke Hosts Food, Wine Festival

Strawbery Banke Museum will host Vintage & Vine, its annual “wine festival in historic style,” Sept. 9 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. (4 p.m. admission for VIP). Celebrating it’s 30th year, the event is in partnership with the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlets.

Vintage & Vine 2017 offers more than 1,000 guests an opportunity to chat with knowledgeable wine and restaurant partners as they nibble and sip there way through the enchanting historical village while listening to jazz and blues by Cuppa Joe.

Premier wine vendor Pine State Beverage Company, preferred vendors Horizon Beverages and Perfecta Wines lead a group of a dozen other wine distributors to offer a generous array of wines to sample and order.

Star Chefs from Atlantic Grill, Demeters Steakhouse and Martingale Wharf present innovative bites from grills at “center-stage” while dozens of the seacoast’s best chefs share their best “grazing” specialties.

Vintage & Vine tickets are available now, and are priced as follows:

General admission: $65; designated driver $20

VIP admission including Grand Tasting:  $120; designated driver $30

Members receive $20 off the price of admission

All guests, including designated drivers, must be 21 years of age or older.

Complimentary transportation from city parking lots and hotels to Strawbery Banke will be provided by the Pickwick’s Nickleby Trolley, operating from 3:30 to 8:30 pm. For the route map, please click here.

Strawbery Banke Museum, in the heart of historic downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is an authentic, 10-acre outdoor history museum dedicated to bringing 300+ years of American history to life.
