NEW HAMPSHIRE —

The 15th Restaurant Week Portsmouth and the Seacoast takes place Nov. 5 – Nov. 14 and typically features 70,000 diners sampling 50 restaurants located in Portsmouth and the Seacoast.

Settled in the early 1600s, Portsmouth and surrounding towns make up a vibrant, New England coastal destination with a stellar arts and culture scene, unique locally owned shops and restaurants with every kind of cuisine imaginable — much locally sourced — at establishments ranging from chef-owned restaurants to local breweries.

About Portsmouth’s Culinary Scene

It was Nov. 18, 1970 when James Haller and two friends opened the Blue Strawbery Restaurant in Portsmouth, and with that, the culinary renaissance was on.
